Navy Youth Hockey Association has partnered with the Washington Capitals to allow players and parents new to hockey to discover if the game is for them by helping offset some of the start-up costs by offering learn to play hockey lessons and an equipment package at a deeply discounted rate.
Each participant will become a member of Navy Youth Hockey Association, receive eight weeks of on-ice hockey instruction, as well as receive complimentary head-to-toe equipment from CCM:
In addition to the equipment provided, we recommend that you purchase a neck guard, mouth guard and athletic supporter.
Participants will order equipment online and equipment will be shipped directly to the home.
Visit the Future Caps Learn To Play site at this LINK for more detail on the program.
There are 2 Spring 2025 programs available - a co-ed program (LINK) & a girls-only program (LINK).
There will be a participation fee payable to Navy Youth Hockey Association of $279 (+ a processing fee) for Co-ed $269 for Girls, which pays for ice time & coaching.
Registration is open now and will close March 4, 2025.
The program provides FREE head-to-toe equipment for your child to keep as they continue exploring youth hockey.
Participants in Future Caps Learn To Play must be 5-9 years old at the first on-ice session.
