Former Navy Youth Hockey and current Concordia College hockey player Max Mona has just returned from Tanzania!

In his efforts to climb and summit Uhuru Peak at Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa and one of the seven summits of the world.

Max has also been raising money to help support the Immune Deficiency Foundation. The IDF is located in Towson, MD and specializes in improving the diagnosis and treatment of people living with primary immunodeficiencies.

The IDF is a non-profit organization that hits close to home as Max has been raising money on behalf of his younger brother Cameron who has been living with a Common Variable Immune Deficiency (CVID) diagnosis for most of his life. Attached is a link directly to his GoFundMe to help support his fundraising efforts and help him raise the last $750 needed to obtain his goal of $5,000 raised to support further research.
